When will I get my goods?
Our standard delivery is 2-3 working days but place your order before 1pm (and choose next day delivery) and we can get it to you on the next working day.
Can I return goods?
You can return products to us within 28 days of the date of the delivery, provided you have received written agreement in the form of an authorisation email from PAINTPEOPLE. No claims can be considered for returns outside this period. Goods are to be returned at your expense to the original source of supply as specified by PAINTPEOPLE.
In the unlikely event of a product being defective please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will replace the original order.
There are certain products that cannot be returned once opened. Read our full Returns & Refunds Policy.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
How do I order my goods?
PAINTPEOPLE products can only be ordered via our website. You can pay with PayPal or by using your credit or debit card. Our online ordering facility is totally secure.
How much do you charge for delivery?
Our delivery charge is dependent on the value of your order. Standard delivery is free. Next day delivery* is £10 for all orders. Read our full delivery charge information.
PAINTPEOPLE delivers to the UK mainland only, excluding the Scottish Highlands.
How do you deliver?
We use a leading, nationwide courier firm to deliver your goods so you can be sure of a safe and prompt delivery.
How will I know which day my goods are due to be delivered?
If you order before 1.00pm (and choose next day delivery) you'll receive your goods on the next working day. If you choose standard delivery, they'll be with you within 2-3 working days.
Can I specify a particular delivery date?
Yes, just let us know when you place your order. You can do this by leaving us a message in the notes box as you checkout or by emailing us at email@example.com
Will I need to sign for delivery?
The courier will need a signature before dropping off the goods. If nobody is available to sign for the goods, the courier will try to leave the goods with a neighbour. If this isn’t possible, they will take the goods back to the depot and get in touch to arrange a new delivery date.
Will the courier carry the goods into my home or garden?
Due to insurance requirements, the courier can only deliver to your door and not into your property. However, most of our products can be carried by one adult.
Can you deliver to an alternative address?
Yes. We appreciate that you may be ordering for someone else and want the goods delivered to their address. Just let us know at the time of ordering please.
How can I pay for my order?
We currently accept Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, and Maestro/Solo Cards. You can also pay using PayPal (requires a separate PayPal account).
How do I get in touch with you?
PAINTPEOPLE operates solely on the Internet, which is one reason we can offer the savings we do. You can find answers to most questions in our FAQ page, so please take a look there first. If you can’t find the answer to your question, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll do our best to get back to you within one working day.
I want to buy your products, but get a tradesperson to do the work. Can you recommend any?
Not at the moment. We recommend you use a site such as www.mybuilder.com or www.myhammer.com where you can ask interested traders in your area to bid for a job. Alternatively www.yell.com will have a list of local tradespeople.
I need to ask a question about a product, how do I do that?
Our product pages and Product Information Sheets fully describe the product including how to use it, the area the product will cover and the best conditions for use.
But, if you're unsure and would like some advice, please email us at email@example.com and we’ll get back to you within one working day.
Can I get a VAT receipt?
Yes. A receipt, with full VAT information so you to claim back the tax (if you are eligible to do so) can be sent separately from your order. Just let us know by leaving a message in the notes box when you place your order.
I can’t remember my password

All our fact sheets are supplied as pdf (portable document format) files. There are a number of free programs available to view these files, including Foxit Reader (for Windows) and Adobe Reader (for Windows, Mac & Linux).
