Description

Here’s what you need to know:

  • When upcycling old furniture, make it easy on yourself with our Chalky Furniture Paint. No need to sand or prime before painting
  • Sand after painting to show the surface underneath for that shabby chic feel. For the distressed look, apply two coats in contrasting colours and sand when dry
  • The paint leaves a lovely flat matt finish, which can be sanded to show the surface underneath, giving a distressed finish if desired

Features and benefits:

  • Water based and virtually odourless
  • Smooth, chalky matt finish
  • Exceptional coverage
  • No priming or sanding necessary on most surfaces (simply ensure surfaces are smooth, dry and free from contaminants)
  • Works great over old paint, varnish and wax

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    Ask a Question
    • A: Yes, you can choose to buy the full size tin (750ml) or select the 125ml  sample pot instead from the drop down on the main product page.

    • A: We don't recommend adding anything to our products (even if they are another colour of the same thing) as it can disrupt the chemical composition and cause the product to fail. You are welcome to test it, but we wouldn't be able to guarantee the success of the coating.

    • A: The product is fine to be left as it is when painted, you do not need to do anything afterwards if you like the finish.

However, for improved water resistance you would need to apply the finishing wax from this range. This will protect the coating form water.
